Budget 2002

 
In the 2002 Budget, the Government announced it would introduce enhanced allowances for investments in five more groups of technologies:

  • Compressed air equipment
    • Condition monitoring control equipment
    • Electronic drain trap
  • Heat pumps for space heating
    • Air source: single duct
    • Air source: packaged ‘double duct’
    • Air source: split and multisplit (incl VRF)
    • Water source: packaged
    • Water source: split and multisplit (incl VRF)
  • Radiant and warm air heaters
    • Overhead radiant heaters
    • Packaged warm air heaters
  • Refrigeration equipment
    • Display cabinets
    • Compressors
  • Solar thermal systems
The new Energy Technology List was published on 15 July 2002 and came into effect on 5 August 2002.
