ETL symbols

The Carbon Trust has created the Energy Technology List (ETL) symbol to show that a product has been independently assessed and met the published energy-saving criteria.

Only manufacturers of ETL-approved products are allowed to use the symbol and they must agree to licensing terms and conditions before use.

This symbol indicates that a product has met the energy-saving criteria and is listed on the Energy Technology Product List (ETPL). It is used for all technologies other than component based automatic monitoring and targeting, combined heat and power, lighting and pipework insulation.
