Compressed air equipment

Compressed air systems are found on many industrial premises and can often be used as an alternative to a direct electricity supply.

Compressed air is often referred to as the fourth utility after electricity, gas and water. Unlike the other three, it’s generated onsite. So users have much more control over costs and the amount they use. Compressed air represents one of the best opportunities for immediate energy savings on any site, and often requires only a modest level of investment.

All eligible products in this category appear on the Energy Technology Product List (ETPL). This is continually updated, with new products added and old ones removed at the beginning of every month.

You will be able to claim an Enhanced Capital Allowance on a product if it’s on the ETPL at the time of purchase. If it has been taken off the list, or is added at a later date, you will not. So make sure the product you want to buy is on the list before making your investment.

Click on the relevant sub-technology below to see the full list of products currently on the list. You can use the filter to search for products with a certain feature. Alternatively you can tick one or more of the check boxes and export them to Excel to compare products.
