Automatic monitoring and targeting (AMT) equipment

AMT equipment can be portable or fixed (component based). Both types monitor how much energy a site is using, identifying any areas where it’s being wasted. This helps companies introduce energy-saving measures in the areas where they will provide the most benefit.

The equipment also helps ensure these measures have the desired long-term effect.

Component based products don’t appear on the ETPL, but manufacturers and suppliers who have completed the Energy Technology List (ETL) supplier assessment do. However, don’t forget you’ll need a Certificate of Compliance from the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to make a claim.

Portable products are listed on the Energy Technology Product List (ETPL) and claims should be made in the normal way.
